Program Overview

The tutoring program for the students who are learning Chinese in the schools helps students gain fluency in their speaking and listening skills. Working closely with the Chinese instructors in the schools, our custom-made program follows the school's curriculum and focuses on building a student's listening and speaking skills based on the vocabulary and grammar that they've already learned in school. The flexibility of a 1-on-1 setting is also highly customized to meet each student's needs on an individual basis.
What do we offer?

e-TA program:
The e-TA project is designed to help local schools with a Mandarin program to provide extended Mandarin practice in order to improve the language proficiency. All of the contents of the online sessions are strictly aligned with the students' class curriculum, and SpeakMandarin.com will be working closely with your Mandarin Chinese teachers to ensure the curriculum is of the highest satisfying quality.

Model 1:
1-on-1 tutoring - This is highly efficient in providing customized teaching and learning to improve students' proficiency quickly.
Case Study: A high school in the Los Angeles area with 104 students is using the 1on1 sessions to improve the proficiency of their students and carry out the oral tests. Their program requires 15 teachers from SpeakMandarin.com to hold the sessions at the same time.

Model 2:
Small group - 1 teacher to 3 students. Again, this is highly efficient and it adds the factors of learning in a social environment, ideal for schools/students seeking supplementary practice to their existing school Chinese program.
