Business Chinese

Basic Business Chinese is for students who have no previous exposure to the Chinese language and society. This course start with introducing the Mandarin Chinese Pinyin system, a phonetic system which incorporates an alphabet combined with five tones, in order to provide the students with a systematic picture of the language. Pinyin is considered a very handy and intuitional tool for the Western learners to master the language's pronunciation. The students become familiar with the Chinese writing system and start to learn Hanzi (Chinese characters). Topics include: basic greetings and introduction; conversation about one's family, hobbies, etc.

Advanced Business Chinese is specially designed for high level foreign students of Chinese; especially those doing trade with China or will do trade with Chinese.This course is carefully tailored to ensure that the choices of Chinese vocabulary and language points are suitable.After completing this series, students will acquire a vocabulary approximately 500 specialized business Chinese words and several hundred phrases. Then the students can use very professional language to express, discuss and negotiate.Included in the course are practical topics: How to succeed in a job interview, the rules in the workplace, and the strategies of negotiations...
