| Chinese: Fast Track for Beginners is a course powered by the SuperMemo learning
method. It contains 39 units that introduce elementary vocabulary and sentences in
Mandarin Chinese. New words and structures are presented within a number of basic everyday subjects, e.g. family, shopping, hobbies, transportation. The course comprises 3,300 exercises which allow the user to practice and learn 1,500 new words and expressions both in Chinese characters and pinyin. Each lesson consists in mastering new vocabulary in a set of tasks based on matching, multiple choice, translating and listening. |

Therefore, a student with no previous exposure to Mandarin Chinese will need to spend 4-6 hours to finish and digest a topic. Assuming that you spend 5 hours per week on studying this course package, you willbe able to finish it in about 40 weeks.
